House of Lords supports a number of charities. These mainly aim to help children with life-threatening diseases.

ZZF rally

Every year the ZZF (Zeldzame Ziekten Fonds - Fund for Rare Diseases) organises a classic-car rally to raise money for a research project. The rally in 2015 totalled 101.400 euros for children with the disease Epidermolysis Bullosa.In 2014 they raised 81.000 euros for researching the Leigh disease. In 2013 there was 86000 euros collected for research into neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer. 

Ronald McDonald foundation

is a Dutch foundation that support sick and disabled children and their families. The Foundation is part of the international organisation, Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The Foundation has houses, so called Ronald McDonald houses, close to hospitals, in which parents, siblings of sick children live temporarily. The Foundation also has rooms in hospitals and living rooms in places in which sick or disabled children can rest. In addition, the Foundation organises holiday and sports activities.

Make a wish

Make-A-Wish Netherlands fulfills the dearests wish of children aged 3-18 who suffer from a life-threatening disease. This may turn out to make a world of difference for their future.
