Key Staff Members

Leon Harinck (1973), Patron Cuisinier, is a top-level chef who won the “Gouden Pollepel” award twice while working for the well-established Saur restaurant in The Hague and the Keuken van Waarde in Wassenaar. He prepared lunches as well as dinners for discerning politicians and business customers and gave cooking workshops. He grew up in the Dutch province of Zeeland where he developed his creativity in preparing seafood, both shellfish and lobsters. Leon has a passion for classic motorbikes. 

Maître d’Hotel Raymond Talsma (1968) made the House of Lords his second home since his father managed the same restaurant for some 25 years. Raymond finished his training at the renowned hotel school in Koksijde, Belgium, and then worked for various restaurants in the Netherlands and  abroad. He was master chef at the Antwerp restaurants 'Stephanie' and 'Beluga' and travelled the world as a maître d'hôtel for the Holland-America Line and Windstar Cruises. After that he returned to The Hague where his roots are. Raymond shares the enthusiasm for motorcycles with his business partner Leon Harinck.
